Getting Myself to Draw
One of my favorite things about working at ADi is the way Kate (our President) keeps encouraging us in our personal development and in working better as a team. Communicating Without Words
More and more frequently in the last few years, we’ve been working on projects that are intended to be seen by a variety of audiences around the world. The usual process for “localization” (customizing a project for a particular region) involves translating any text or voice content, changing colors or layout, or even replacing actors and photos where there might be cultural ramifications. This is your Brain on Animation part 1
I’m sure many of us have noticed that our eyes can easily be tricked by what we see. Here are two simple examples: There is no actual movement in this image, you imagine there is because of the placement of the colors and patterns and “see” it in your peripheral vision. 3D animators understand the effects of color, texture, pattern, light, movement and most importantly depth perception.
