    The right thing at the right time

    Over at Substance, they’ve just published a case study for the Travel Oregon mobile site they designed. It’s an informative post, showing the thinking behind all of the capabilities of the mobile site- how they balanced user needs with technological capabilities and the client’s strategic vision to provide that particular experience.     Brave New World of Media?

    Last Wednesday, Webvisions, The Creative Conference, and Oregon Film co-sponsored a panel about new media as part of a new “Backstage Pass” series of talks. The panel was a great mix- representatives of the animation, gaming, interactive, film distribution, documentary, and advertising worlds, discussing new methods of film distribution and promotion.     Free is not a good price

    There is a lot of frustration in the creative community about unpaid projects. Somewhere along the way, as aspiring designers were working for free, just for the fun or for the experience, people forgot to educate clients on the true value of creative work.
