Sketchnotes! of an EA presentation
When I went to, and did a presentation at, Interaction12 a couple of weeks ago it was all the rage for attendees to produce a Sketchnote of any and all presentations. (There was a workshop at the IxDA event all about it, actually) I think Chris Noessel from Cooper did an absolutely fab job of sketching one for my Ethnographic Animation preso (and he also wrote up an excellent journal post on his experience drawing sketchnote style at the conference.) He even got in the part about The Don! :)

The Joys of Dungeon Mastering
The Joys of Dungeon Mastering: I have just picked up the reigns of mine and my friends long running Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Thanks to Skyrim coming out while I was planning for this adventure, my story is all about dragons taking over the world. Oddly enough, in our three years of adventuring, we’ve never actually faced off against a dragon. I decided to flip that around and turn dragons from the ultimate end boss of the storyline to the most prominent and visible creatures in the game world. First night…

The Quirky Mind
Quirky is a crowd-source invention company, whose process utilizes the web. People can submit an idea for $10.00 and pitch it, giving the problem and solution, in their mind, and the community votes on it and adds their comments. This is something I have been wanting for years, not being able to shell out the funds for a patent lawyer and the research. Despite Google’s push to put patent search online (currently in beta), it’s still a tough and expensive task for the individual to get an invention…
